How
do I get a back issued coin?
At this point, previously
released coins are only available through the subscribers who received them
as part of their subscriptions. You may see some being offered in trade for
personal coins or on auction on eBay. We provide an area in our forums for people
to initiate trades of Geocoins of any type, be they Geocoin Club coins or not.
We have tentative plans to open a members-only store where a limited amount of coins will be available. These coins will be similar to previous issued coins, but different from the original issue.

About Geocoin Club Subscriptions

do I get my first coin?

How
do I renew my subscription?
Subscriptions auto-renew
through PayPal. If you want to keep your suscription as it is, you don't need
to do a thing. PayPal will automatically renew your subscription when the time
comes.

How
do I cancel my subscription
To cancel your subscription,
you will need to cancel it with PayPal. Click here for the PayPal cancellation page.
Once you have terminated your subscription there, you will not be charged for
the next subscription cycle, but your current subscription will be fulfilled.

Can
I have more than one subscription?
A: Yes, you can use the
form on the front page to sign up for an additional subscription.

Can
I buy a subscription for a friend?
A: Yes, simply sign up for
an additional subscription, but provide your friend's address as the shipping
address. When you do this, you will also be charged when the subscription renews.

Can
I buy gift certificates?
A: Not currently. We provide gift certificates as donations to events but do not offer them for sale. To buy a gift subscription, simply create a new subscription but provide your friend's address. If you do not want the subscription to auto renew, simply cancel the subscription immediately after payment is sent. We will continue to send coins for the subscription period, but the subscription will not end.

I
want to upgrade or modify my subscription, can I?
A: To modify or upgrade a subscription, simply sign up for the new subscription you would like and email info@geocoinclub.com with your old subscription ID and request cancellation and refund of any remaining months. Why do we do it this way? Previously, we allowed you to modify your current subscription. However, with PayPal they will not make the change until the end of your current subscription period. So if you are 1 month into a 6 month subscription and wish to make a change, using the old way you would have to wait 5 months for the change to take effect - not so great! This new method allows us to process your changes more immediately. You will not experience a gap in service.

About the Geocoin Club
Who
is behind the Geocoin Club?
The Geocoin Club was started
by Rusty (Rusty), Mike (Trippy1976), and Ben (Bjorn74) in June 2005. Over the
course of the summer, dozens of coin designs were created and critiqued resulting
in a beginning portfolio of coin designs that they believed to represent the
heart of the sport we all love, Geocaching. Between the three of them they have
been caching for just shy of 13 years, have found about 3000 geocaches, have
placed 80 geocaches, and have handled nearly 300 registered traveling items.
They have been involved in forming several Geocaching organizations and planning
major events. They also live in 3 different states (although many would say
4).

We provide use of this service
to people with geocaching.com trackable coins for no fee. Please contact us to coordinate the load of your code. 7-10 days advanced notice is reccommended.

Will
you make a personal coin for me?
A: Not through The Geocoin Club, but you can get Rusty
to design/mint a personal coin at http://www.personalgeocoins.com or we will work with you via The Geocoin Store. At The Geocoin Store, we offer a great create/sell plan. If you mint your coin using our production services, we will do fulfillment and sale of that coin at no additional charge. We also offer a split package for great coin designs. Submit a design - if we really love it... we'll give you 100 for free with permission to make and sell 400 to recoup the production costs. You're free and clear with 100 coins for personal use as soon as the coins arrive!
